PART TIME OLDER PERSONS SERVICES COORDINATOR
St. Catherine’s CSC is a registered charity providing a range of
social, community and health services in Carlow. We now wish to
recruit a part-time Co-ordinator for our Older Persons Services. These
are our Meals on Wheels and Senior Alerts Service (SAS) and we also
provide other activities, programmes and events that meet the needs of
older people in the community.
The Older Persons Services Coordinator will work to develop our
existing services and new services and activities while building good
relationships with older people, volunteers and staff, local agencies
and partners.
St. Catherine’s wish to recruit a part-time Older Persons Services
Coordinator.
LOCATION: St. Joseph’s Road, Carlow
HOURS OF WORK: Part-time position, *.5 hours
per week
ANNUAL LEAVE: * days pro-rata
REPORTING TO: Director of Services
ROLE CRITERIA
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS:
* A relevant third level qualification in community development,
education, training, social work or a related field
* At least three years paid experience working in a similar role
delivering and manging programmes and/or projects in a community
setting
* Staff and budgetary management experience
* Experience working within a community development context
* Experience in developing working partnerships and alliances
* Excellent communication and facilitation skills with the ability
to work with people from different backgrounds
* Good IT and social media skills
